Individual and Couples Counselling
We offer both individual and couples counselling to meet you where you are. Individual therapy provides a private, focused space to work through personal challenges. Couples counselling creates a structured environment where partners can improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen their connection with the guidance of an experienced therapist.
Whether you are dealing with long-standing patterns or responding to something more recent, our counsellors will work with you to set meaningful goals and track your progress over time. Sessions are available in person at our Victoria, BC clinic or online via secure video for anyone in British Columbia.
Funding and Insurance
Many extended health benefit plans cover sessions with Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC) and Registered Clinical Social Workers (RCSW). In addition, some of our practitioners are approved providers for the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP), Veterans Affairs Canada (Medavie), and First Nations Health Authority funding. Fees for sessions with a Registered Clinical Social Worker are tax-deductible and GST exempt.

Frequently Asked Questions
Your first session is an opportunity to get to know your counsellor and discuss what brought you to therapy. Your counsellor will ask about your history, current concerns, and goals for treatment. Together, you will begin to shape a plan that feels right for you. There is no pressure to share more than you are comfortable with.
Most individual sessions are 50 to 60 minutes in length. Some practitioners also offer extended 80-minute sessions, which can be particularly helpful for couples work, EMDR processing, or deeper therapeutic exploration. Your counsellor will recommend the format that best suits your needs.
