About

Dr. Lucinda Brown is an educational consultant with backgrounds in counselling and learning support. She holds a B.A., B.Ed., and graduate counselling courses from the University of Calgary, plus an M.A. and Ph.D. in learning and development from the University of Victoria.

As an Assistant Teaching Professor in Educational Psychology and Leadership Studies at UVic, she has received two Excellence in Teaching awards. Her teaching areas include learning support, prosocial behaviour promotion, child and adolescent development, psychology of learning, and research methods.

She is an author and advocate for students facing school environment challenges, frequently serving as a guest speaker for psychology classes, professional development workshops, and conferences.
